BlackLight Power, Inc. - Executive Summary

• BlackLight Power, Inc. is the inventor of a commercially competitive, nonpolluting new primary source of energy that forms a prior undiscovered form of hydrogen called “hydrino”.

• Proprietary solid fuels undergo reaction to cause hydrogen to form hydrino.  The net energy released from this "BlackLight Process" may be two hundred times that of combustion of the hydrogen fuel with power densities comparable to those of fossil-fuel and nuclear power plants.

• The hydrogen fuel for the BlackLight Process could be obtained by diverting a fraction of the output energy of the process to power the electrolysis of water into its elemental constituents, hydrogen and oxygen gases.  With water as the fuel, the operational cost of BlackLight Power generators is likely to be very inexpensive.  Moreover, the process does not give rise to pollution, green-house gases, or radiation as conventional systems do.

• The Company has developed a breakthrough in solid fuel chemistries that are very efficient at liberating energy from forming hydrinos, and the Company believes that this breakthrough will result in a reduction in the commercialization timeline for products utilizing the BlackLight Process.  Importantly, the Company has shown that these solid fuels can be thermally regenerated. Thus, the Company believes that continuous generation of power liberated by forming hydrinos is commercially feasible using simplistic and efficient systems that concurrently maintain regeneration as part of the thermal energy balance.  The system is closed except that only hydrogen consumed in forming hydrinos need be replaced.

• Rowan University has independently validated power production and thermal regeneration of the solid fuel that will permit the process to run continuously using currently available commercial systems.  BlackLight currently believes that the achievement of commercial power generation will require the application of existing industry knowledge in chemical and power engineering, and utilize common power-plant equipment.

• The Company anticipates economically competitive products in a wide range of applications including thermal, distributed, and central power generation, and motive power.

• Chemistries and engineering designs have been developed using the corresponding experimental parameters for power and regeneration for two thermal-Rankine systems.  One comprises a multi-tube thermally interacting bundle of cells wherein cells producing power provide heat to those undergoing regeneration.  As a system, the power output is constant.  The capital costs are projected to be about $1400/kW electric.  The other comprises an array of reactors wherein power and regeneration chemistries occur synchronously, and each cell outputs constant power.  The capital costs are projected to be about $1050/kW electric.  A third design called CIHT utilizes many options of tested chemistry and comprises the direct production of electrical power from the formation of hydrinos.  The capital costs are projected to be about $25/kW electric with no infrastructure requirements, and the system is deployable for essentially any application at any scale.

• BlackLight is non-exclusively licensing its process to make power for a fixed royalty payment per kilowatt-hour of thermal or electric. To date, the Company has licensed the rights to produce approximately 8,250 MW of new electrical power to seven companies, including five electrical utilities and two independent power producers.  Collectively the combined utility companies own, purchase, or manage electric power production of approximately 7,600 MW and service nearly one million customers.  The avoided fuel costs from these agreements could be in excess of $2 billion per year.

• Power from the solid fuels, hydrinos from both synthesis reactions and as a product of the solid fuels, the light signature of the formation of hydrinos, and other signatures of the BlackLight Process have been independently validated and published in scientific journals.

• The theory upon which BlackLight's technology has been developed is based on the classical laws of physics. The Company recently released the finalized Grand-Unified Theory of Classical Physics that comprehensively addresses many of the basic problems in chemistry and physics using these physical laws without using approximations or pure mathematics, devoid of physics, as is the case for the incumbent atomic theory of quantum mechanics.  BlackLight's wholly owned subsidiary, Millsian, Inc., is dedicated to developing computational, chemical-design software tools based on solving molecular structures using these laws.  The essentially real-time, analytical solutions of the precise physical structure of molecule of boundless extent and complexity, not possible using quantum mechanics, further validates the classical theory relied on by the Company.
